Genç Akademi (Youth Academy) is a national conference for university students organized by the Bilkent University Operational Research Club. It takes place every year and has grown to the point where it attracts over 800 participants from 80 departments at 60 universities.
At this two-day symposium, attendees meet and listen to leading figures from business, politics, the arts, sports and the media. The purpose of Genç Akademi is to enlighten tomorrow’s leaders by putting them in touch with today’s leaders.
Speakers at this year’s Genç Akademi will include Hakan Alp, FinansBank vice general manager of Human Relations; Nihat Özdemir, Limak Holding chairman of the board; Hakan Polatoglu, ETI CEO; actor Erdal Beşikçioğlu; and Nurten Öztürk, founder of OPET.
The event will take place December 21–22 at the Congresium International Convention and Exhibition Center in Ankara.
Tickets for the 9th Genç Akademi may be purchased at the desks in the A Building entrance area and in front of the Speed and Kıraç restaurants on Main Campus, and also from the website www.gencakademi.org.
