Ready to innovate? Registration for Brandstorm, the annual international marketing case competition sponsored by L’Oreal, has started. This year’s challenge is to develop marketing ideas for the Lancome brand that will attract new customers in the “travel retail” segment—that is, shoppers at airport malls and similar venues. At Bilkent, the Operational Research Club is serving as the host organization for Brandstorm.

Students competing in Brandstorm work as three-member teams and, after presenting their initial projects for judging, may be chosen to go on to the national finals in their country. The team that wins the national event will attend the international final, to be held in Paris.
