Müesser Yeniay, a PhD student in the Department of Turkish Literature, has just published her fourth book of poetry. “Sevgiliyle Daimî Konuşma” (Permanent Talk With the Beloved) is a recent imprint of Şiirden Publishing House in İstanbul, and deals with feminist issues and the dialectics of love.
In addition to her books of poetry, Ms. Yeniay has published books of poetry criticism and translated works. She periodically writes essays on poetry in Şiirden magazine and also participates in international readings held in locations around the world. This month, she will attend an international poetry festival in Benidorm, Spain, as a representative of contemporary Turkish poetry.
