The Bilkent Teaching and Learning Support Center and Psychological Counseling and Development Center are joining to hold two seminars this month, on the topics of time management and procrastination.
The time management seminar will take place on Thursday, October 17, at 12:40 p.m. in FFB-05. It will emphasize the role of thought and planning in managing one’s time, and will encourage participants to think about such questions as: How do you spend your time every day? Do you want to organize your life and use your time effectively? What do you need to use time effectively?
The seminar exploring procrastination will take place the following Thursday, October 24, at 12:40 p.m. in the C-Block Auditorium. The presentation will start by answering the question “Why do we procrastinate?” and then suggest strategies to overcome the tendency to procrastinate. In discussing why some people leave projects, exams and almost everything to the last minute, the presentation will highlight the important point that procrastination may be more of a symptom than a problem.
Please note that the seminars will be in Turkish.
