Will you be applying to a master’s or PhD program soon? Do you need to include a statement of purpose (SoP) with your application?
The Career and Alumni Office and the Faculty Academic English program invite students to come to their Statement of Purpose Workshops and learn how to write an SoP more effectively, and also how to tailor it to different audiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out how to set up an appointment to get feedback on their SoPs from FAE instructors.
The remaining SoP workshops for this semester will be held on November 19 and December 10, both at 5:40 p.m. in the FEASS building’s C-Block Auditorium.
The Statement of Purpose Workshop is a Career Passport Program (CPP) activity, and is worth 1 point toward the 10-point total needed to complete the program.
