What do you like best about Turkey?
The people. They are very kind here.
Are there any similarities between your culture and Turkey’s?
Our cultures come from the same Turkish origin, so I had very few problems adapting to the culture here.
What will you miss most about Turkey/Bilkent?
The hissing noise of the buses, and the food.
Why Turkey?
I’d been here during my summer holidays, and I fell in love with the place.
Where do expect to see yourself in 10 years?
Probably as a graphic designer in some media company or in the advertising industry.
What is the hardest challenge you’ve overcome in Turkey?
The language barrier. Although my Turkish isn’t so good, I still manage to communicate with my Turkish friends.
What cities have you visited in Turkey? Which one do you like best?
So far I’ve been to İstanbul, Sakarya and Kastamonu. I’m planning to visit İzmir soon. The city I like best is Ankara.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can cook one-minute noodles in 58 seconds! Just kidding. Besides my artistic skills, I compose music on the guitar.
What is one question you are asked frequently or the most interesting comment you’ve heard?
“You look like a guy from my favorite anime!”
