What do you like best about Turkey?
How geographically diverse the country is.
Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?
Yes, the people in both countries are very self-reflective and open to identifying the flaws within their community and culture.
What will you miss most about Bilkent/Turkey?
All-nighters in the study rooms and the reassuring look of misery on everyone’s face during midterms week.
What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?
The football field behind the PTT office. It’s just so serene there.
What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?
Beyti kebab.
Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?
Anywhere, as long as I’m working on human rights.
What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?
Using public transport without the Internet or any know-how regarding the language.
What cities have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?
Quite a few, but my favorite would be Bursa.

Not really.

If you could master any skill, which one would you choose, and why?
I think it’d be the skill of doing things I’m not particularly passionate about. That way, I could get so much done.
