What do you like best about Turkey?
The beautiful cities and the good-looking people.
Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?
The people in both countries are kind and welcoming.
What will you miss most about Bilkent/Turkey?
I’ll miss all the people from different countries and cultures I’ve met here.
What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?
Bilka hill, where I could spend all day, because of its amazing view.
What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?
Turkish kebab and the Turkish dance halay are my favorites.
Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?
It’s a strange thing to say for a person pursuing engineering, but I’d like to start a venture and run my own business.
What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?
Doing my own laundry.
What cities have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?
I’ve visited İstanbul, Bursa, Ephesus, Antalya, Alanya, Konya, Trabzon, Kayseri and Çeşme. It’s difficult to choose which is my favorite, but I’d go for Antalya.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I’ve yet to discover them.

Why did you choose to come to Bilkent/Turkey, of all places?
