What do you like best about Turkey?

I love that Turkey is located in a very centric location in the world, so you can meet people from everywhere who come from entirely different backgrounds.

Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?

Both in Peru and Turkey have extraordinary natural landscapes to explore, and the people in both countries are very warm and friendly.

What will you miss most about Bilkent/Turkey?

What I’ll most miss about Bilkent is definitely all the amazing people that I’ve met in these four years, and Marmara (I hate cooking).

What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?

My favorite place is the Spring Fest area because of the amazing festivals and all the nature around it.

What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?

I could eat mantı every day, at any time. I love all the cute words that Turkish people, Turkish girls especially, come up with, like bebişko.

Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?

As a real estate developer helping to make cities more enjoyable and liveable spaces for people in Peru and around the world.

What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?

The language barrier.

What cities have you visited in Turkey?

İstanbul, İzmit, İzmir, Antalya, Çanakkale and Kapadokya.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I make amazing paper-art sculptures and amazing sandcastles.

What’s an interesting question or comment you hear frequently at Bilkent/in Turkey?

That living at Bilkent is very expensive, but the facilities are great.

Describe yourself in three words.

Handsome. Funny. Tall.

If you could master any skill, which one would you choose, and why?

The skill of adaptation; that way I would be able to adapt to life’s ever-changing nature.
