What do you like best about Turkey?

Turkey has been home to many civilizations, and so naturally it has a very rich history. I like Turkey because this very fact is visible in every corner of the country.

Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?

Iranians, just like Turkish people, drink so much tea.

What will you miss most about Bilkent/Turkey?

I’m blanking out on its exact name, but I’ll miss the “vegetable casserole” the most from the university cafeteria. It’s like lasagna; in fact, one could call it vegetable lasagna.

What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?

My favorite place on campus is SA Building, specifically at night, because for some reason, to me it looks like a chic restaurant after dark.

What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?

My favorite food is Beyti. Beyti is like the Tom Cruise of Turkish cuisine!

Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?

I’ll be ruling over the world with my evil genius (mwahahaha)! On a serious note, life is full of surprises, and I can’t say for sure what I’ll end up doing in the future.

What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?

Getting accustomed to saying “Naber?” instead of “Ne haber?”

What places have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?

So far, I’ve visited İstanbul, Cappadocia and, just like most Iranians, tom and Antalya; however, Ankara is by far my favorite city.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Not Found. Error 404.

What’s an interesting question or comment you hear frequently about Bilkent/ Turkey?

Someone asked me one time: “Is it true that every student has his/her own expensive car?”
