What do you like best about Turkey?

Food is affordable and the people are friendly. The weather is also good.

Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?

The drinking culture and fashion sense are similar.

What will you miss most about Bilkent/Turkey?

The nature aspect; I love how the campus is in between nature and the city. Also, Bilkent has so many activities and there are so many things to do here.

What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?

The Spring Fest area.

What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?

Baklava, Turkish delight and kebap. I love the religious aspect and the evil eye protector.

Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?

Traveling, because I love traveling. Working in politics where I can help people. Doing the job I love, maybe in the UN.

What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?

Making friends and getting around.

What places have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?

İstanbul and Ankara. Ankara, because the people have been really nice.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I can do splits.

What’s an interesting question or comment you hear frequently about Bilkent/Turkey?

People think that Turkey is unsafe because of its geographical location, but it actually isn’t.
