What do you like best about Turkey?

Everything has its beauty; I can’t really choose just one thing.

Are there any similarities between your country’s culture and Turkey’s?

Many, because we are neighbors! The food, the people and especially the way we have fun! As in going out and drinking raki—all those things are the same.

What will you miss most about Turkey/Bilkent?

My friends, and the memories that were created both inside and outside the classroom.

What is your favorite place on campus, and why?

The music faculty building, because I get to have an amazing view while I create something new.

Why Turkey?

Because of Bilkent.

What’s your favorite Turkish food?

I love Turkish kebap.

Where do expect to see yourself in 10 years?

The CEO of a corporation, or a shareholder—I definitely want to do something with finance, because it is so fun and enjoyable.

What is the hardest challenge you’ve overcome in Turkey?

Language and communicating, because not everybody outside of Bilkent speaks English.

What cities have you visited in Turkey? Which one do you like the best?

I have only visited Bodrum, and I can’t really choose, because each city has something different to offer.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m an open book, actually, so I don’t think I have anything hidden in my closet.

What is a question you’re asked frequently, or the most interesting comment you’ve heard at Bilkent/in Turkey?

I’m often asked questions like, “You’re Greek, why did you choose Turkey?” or, “Are you the only Greek student here?”
