What do you like best about Turkey?

I like people here in Turkey. I’ve made amazing relationships and met great friends. I also love Turkish food. Besides, there are many beautiful places to visit here.

Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?

Yes; we have çay in Morocco like Turkish çay.

What will you miss most about Bilkent/Turkey?

My new friends and our trips. The academic quality is also just amazing.

What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?

I don’t have a favorite place, but I love night walks on the campus.

What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?

Pide, Turkish coffee and künefe are what I love.

Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?

As a development economist. I won’t say more; you’ll see me in 10 years and find out.

What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?

I should learn Turkish as soon as possible (haha).

What cities have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?

I’ve already visited Eskişehir and Antalya. (I’m planning to visit other cities too.) Both are amazing, but Antalya is the best.

What’s an interesting question or comment you hear frequently at Bilkent/in Turkey?

“Seven courses are too many.”

Describe yourself in three words.

There are many things to say about myself, but it’s better to hear from my friends. That’s why I asked my new friend, since she’s next to me right now, and she describes me as cheerful, optimistic, brave and independent.
