What do you like best about Turkey?

The friends I’ve made and the nice people I meet every day.

What will you miss most about Turkey/Bilkent?

The fun, the weather, the beautiful places, the fine campus, the pretty faces on campus, the friends I have, playing football…things like that.

If you could recommend a song or a book people should really listen to or read, what would it be?

I would recommend a book, “Half a Yellow Sun,” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

Where do expect to see yourself in 10 years?

Probably working at home in Nigeria. I started a company, and I plan to have others.

Do you have a favorite Turkish word?

The word “tamam,” because it just sounds nice.

What is the hardest challenge you’ve had to overcome in Turkey?

The language. I really knew nothing. I didn’t know what to say to anyone. I had to type everything into a translator and then show people, but now I know some words, so it’s better.

What places have you visited in Turkey?

İstanbul and Ankara, and of course I prefer İstanbul to Ankara.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I sing, but no one knows.

Why did you choose Turkey?

A friend told me, “Come here, you’ll have fun,” and so I did.

What is the question you’re asked most frequently or the most interesting comment you’ve heard?

People always comment about my hair and say, “I love your hair.”
