What do you like best about Turkey?

The food and the hospitable people.

Are there any similarities between your country’s culture and Turkey’s?

I would say there are similarities in food (for example, kebabs), and also in the area of religion and beliefs.

What will you miss most about Turkey/Bilkent?

Friends and peace, especially in the summer, beside the sea.

What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?

In front of FF Building, because most of the time it’s crowded there, and I think this gives the school a positive vibe.

Why Turkey?

It’s close to my country, and it’s a place where I like the food and the people, and at the same time can get a good education.

What’s your favorite Turkish food/favorite part of Turkish culture?

İskender kebap.

Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?

Working in another country, but still having connections with Turkey.

What’s the hardest challenge you’ve overcome in Turkey?

Speaking the language.

What cities have you visited in Turkey?

Which one do you like the best? I’ve been to Eskişehir, Fethiye, İstanbul, Bodrum, İzmir, Kuşadası, Çeşme, Antalya, Adana and Kapadokya; Fethiye is one of the best places I’ve ever been to.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I can think in Turkish.

Why Turkey? And how did you learn Turkish in such a short period of time?
