How has regular exercise affected your life?
It has helped me take time off from anything stressful in my life, to have a healthy mind and body.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
Pick something you actually like doing.
Don’t push yourself too hard at the beginning.
Make sports a habit.
Try different sports.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Fun, self-care, peacefulness.
Which Bilkent sports facilities (sports halls, playing fields, tennis courts, etc.) do you use? Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities?
I use both the Dormitories and Main Campus gyms. I also use the pool in the Dormitories Sports Hall. I was on the swim team for a while, and I’ve taken part in basketball, swimming and volleyball tournaments.
