How often do you exercise?
Three times a week for sure; when I have more time, four or five.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
It helps me maintain a balance. Organizing my life around things I have to do and things I enjoy doing is what makes a tough schedule tolerable.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
Just do it without thinking too much. Everyone looks funny at the beginning; it’s a learning process. Squash is really fun, especially with friends, so it’s like a hangout. I would also recommend Zumba/PoundFit for music lovers.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Movement, energy, fun.
Which Bilkent sports facilities (sports halls, playing fields, tennis courts, etc.) do you use? Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities?
Bilkent has a lot of options, which is great! I mostly use the squash court and the running track. I’ve participated in three squash tournaments, a swim festival and two Zumba master classes so far.
