How often do you exercise?
I practice aikido twice a week. Other than that, I occasionally go to the gyms.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
Exercise and aikido have both affected my physical and metaphysical life. I can channel my emotional energy and project it onto external bodily movements, and being physically fit helps me maintain a psychic balance.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
Understand the real motivation that prompts you to do it, and then get started.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Activity, balance, harmony.
Which Bilkent sports facilities (sports halls, playing fields, tennis courts, etc.) do you use? Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities?
I use the gyms and the aikido room; so far, I’ve participated in an aikido seminar.
