How often do you exercise?
I try to go to the gym two to three times per week.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
I’ve overcome the sense of slackness and feel more energetic; I feel healthier and fitter than I did during the first months of COVID-19 restrictions.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
Get motivated by fit, successful people. Don’t give up exercising. If you need to reduce your leisure time in order to exercise, reduce it. Sports are also a great leisure activity; if you choose a sport that you really enjoy, it becomes your number one activity for relaxation.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Taekwondo, passion, quidditch (greetings to my dear friend FBS).
Which Bilkent sports facilities (sports halls, playing fields, tennis courts, etc.) do you use?
The swimming pool (before the pandemic), the Dormitories Sports Hall and the tennis courts.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities?
I mostly work out in the Sports Hall gym; the only course I’ve taken is tennis.
