How often do you exercise?
Three or four times a week.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
Definitely in a positive way. After a couple of times, it became an important part of my schedule. I have more energy during the day, and I feel happier and more relaxed.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
You should be consistent with your schedule and push yourself as you exercise more. Also, don’t forget that proper nutrition is important!
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Discipline, good nutrition, teamwork.
Which Bilkent sportsfacilities (Sports Halls, playing fields, tennis courts, etc.) do you use?
I use the sports halls for both fitness and team sports; I’ve also used the tennis courts.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities (intramural tournaments, swim festivals, master classes, etc.)?
I was on the volleyball team and in addition have taken tennis classes and participated in the Republic Run.
