How often do you exercise?

I usually exercise four times a week.

How has regular exercise affected your life? 

Regular exercise has given me discipline. I used not to wake up until midday and didn’t care what I ate. I now feel fitter and more energetic.

What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?

Discipline is the most important thing in every sport, so I’d recommend that you never give up. Of course, sometimes you won’t want or be able to exercise, but after that you have to compensate for skipping it. In addition, good nutrition and a regular sleep pattern are as important as exercise.

What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?

Passion; discipline; no pain, no gain.

Which Bilkent sports facilities (Sports Halls, playing fields, tennis courts, etc.) do you use?

I use the Dormitories and Main Sports Hall gyms.

Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities (intramural tournaments, swim festivals, master classes, etc.)?

This is my first year at Bilkent, so I haven’t taken any courses yet. However, I’m going to try to do so as soon as possible.
