How often do you exercise?
Three or four times a week, excluding daily walks.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
It’s significantly improved both my physical and mental well-being. I also find it easier to fit more work into one day because regular exercise has helped me plan my day more efficiently.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
The most important point is to be disciplined about exercise. There may be some days that you feel frustrated or feel like you don’t enjoy exercising, but you need to keep doing it, because once you give up mentally, there’s a good chance you won’t continue.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Being healthy, discovering new interests, having fun.
Which Bilkent sports facilities do you use?
I use the Dormitories Sports Hall regularly, but every once in a while I get together with friends to play various sports like table tennis and Frisbee.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any Sports Center activities?
I took the advanced table tennis course for two years.
