How often do you exercise?
I exercise three or four times a week
How has regular exercise affected your life?
Before I started exercising, my sleep schedule was inconsistent. Exercising on a regular basis has helped me better regulate my sleep pattern, so I’m feeling a lot better now. Also, previously I had an attention deficit issue, where I couldn’t get my head around problems. Now, I feel I can usually focus on solving problems a lot more easily.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
I would suggest that they establish a strict schedule for exercising, and not cut back on the time they have allocated for it; in addition, they should take special care concerning their diet, and consult with a trainer when just starting out.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Perseverance, steadiness, limitless possibilities.
Which Bilkent sports facilities do you use?
I usually utilize one of the sports halls. Sometimes I play football with friends.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any Sports Center activities?
I haven’t yet, but I’m looking forward to trying them. They sound like fun.
