How often do you exercise?
I try to exercise three to four times a week.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
Working out is a great way to let off some steam and do something that makes you proud of yourself. It also gives a boost to your self-confidence when done for a long enough time, and is a great way to meet new people and make friends.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
People who are just starting out should leave their ego at the door. It’s okay to not be able to lift a lot of weight, and it’s not worth risking injury to try to do so.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Consistency, discipline, passion.
Which Bilkent sports facilities do you use?
I primarily use the gym in the Dormitories Sports Hall.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any Sports Center activities?
I haven’t taken any courses, but I’ve learned a great deal from the teachers/trainers in the gym.
