This month, the Career and Alumni Office held two workshops on CV preparation and LinkedIn profile creation. The first workshop, held on February 14, was for students in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, while the second, on February 20, was for students in the Department of Management.
The presenter at the workshops was Career and Alumni Office Director Aydan Öktem. She first offered detailed advice on writing an effective CV, noting the importance of remembering that recruiters keep long-term priorities in mind even as they evaluate CVs for particular job openings. Ms. Öktem then focused on the social network LinkedIn, providing tips on creating a profile that would stand out from others.
