TÜBİTAK (the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) is providing funding to four researchers at Bilkent who submitted proposals in response to the council’s 2021 call for proposals.
Prof. Hilmi Volkan Demir, director of UNAM (the Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center) and a faculty member in the Departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics, was awarded funding through the 2247-A National Leading Researchers Program.
Asst. Prof. Taghi Khaniyev of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Asst. Prof. Muhammed Ömer Sayın of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering were awarded funding through the 2232-B International Young Researchers Program, and Asst. Prof. Efe Tokdemir of the Department of International Relations was awarded funding through the 2247-D National Young Researchers Program.
