The student volunteer organization TDP’s Volunteerism Summit, which brings together panelists and attendees from across Turkey, has become a much-anticipated annual event for young people dedicated to making society better. This year, TDP will hold its third summit, on the theme of “Life Without Barriers.” The event will take place at the TBB Litai Guest House on the weekend of April 13 and 14.
During the summit, experts will discuss the different types of disability, such as visual, auditory, physical and learning disabilities. In addition, various sessions will cover the subject of disabled people with respect to technology, law, art, sports, education and social life.
The purpose of TDP’s annual Volunteerism Summit is to create social awareness. Participants travel to Ankara from all provinces of Turkey to help develop a social responsibility network and a sense of unity, as well as to learn more about social issues and exchange information about activities and projects.
