Voting for the 2014 Bilkent TV Awards, organized by the Social Entertainment Club (SET) and the Media Society, will start this week.
The first Bilkent TV Awards introduced a new and different format for this kind of competition with its unique online awards ceremony. Rather than holding the ceremony at a single place and time as is customary, the Bilkent TV Awards group (made up of SET and Media Society members) goes to the winners’ places of business to present the awards. The award presentations are filmed and then published on the Internet, for viewers to access whenever they like.
This year, voting will take place between December 15 and December 26. The awards, given in 13 categories, will be presented to the winners in January.
Bilkent students, graduates and staff can vote at www.bilkenttvodulleri.com. (Detailed information about the event may also be found on this website.) Please note that after voting, you should go to your webmail and confirm your vote so that it is counted.
You can also vote at several spots around campus—just look for a “TV box” where you can fill in a ballot and leave it to be counted. If you want to have a say in Bilkent’s choices for the best of television, be sure to cast your vote!
