Last weekend, for the first time in a number of years, a winter festival was held on the Bilkent campus. Organized by the Bilkent University Student Council, Winter Fest took place on the Main Alley on Saturday, March 4. Despite its name, the event gave students an early chance to welcome spring, since the weather was sunny and pleasant.
Throughout the day, Bilkenters were entertained by DJs Süleyman Köfteci, Suat Ateşdağlı, CEM Gökalp, Doğuş Çabakçor and Wolfson. The festival program also included a dance performance by the Eşli Danslar Topluluğu and the Modern Danslar Topluluğu.
Now, it’s time to start counting down the days until Spring Fest.
