Asst. Prof. Yıldıray Yıldız of the Department of Mechanical Engineering has been selected to serve as a technical associate editor (AE) for IEEE Control Systems Magazine (CSM), one of the leading journals in its field.
Apart from publishing high-quality papers, CSM is “special in that it publishes tutorial and expository articles in all areas of control system design and applications,” notes the journal’s editor-in-chief. “That requires AEs such as Yıldıray Yıldız who have experience in developing and using a variety of estimation and control techniques in different systems.”
Dr. Yıldız will be serving as one of CSM’s 22 editorial board members from around the world; he will be responsible for decisions regarding the publication of scientific papers on various areas of system dynamics and control.
Dr. Yıldız is also a member of the IEEE Conference Editorial Board, having served as an associate editor in that context since 2015.
