On Saturday, December 20, the seventh Ankara Start-Up Summit took place at Bilkent Cyberpark. The event was organized by Bilkent Cyberpark and the Bilkent Young Entrepreneurs Club.
The summit provided a forum for programmers, internet entrepreneurs, investors and university students to meet, as well as an opportunity for selected entrepreneurs to present their projects to investors. This year’s projects were in the field of web, mobile and social game applications.
Speakers and investors taking part in the summit included Ömer Akarca (angel investor, Galata Business Angels), Tümay Asena (CEO and founding partner, Nokta A.Ş. Nokta.com), Hikmet Özgözen (business development manager at BIC), Eren Canarslan (iLab Ventures), Namık Kural (angel investor, Saygım), Özgür Bayraktar (founder and CEO, Bayraktar & Partners) and Yusuf Akgündüz (general manager, Hacettepe Teknokent A.Ş.).
