Radio Bilkent Recognized by RAYAD

RAYAD (Radyo Yayıncıları Derneği) selected “The 2003 Radio Stars” through a survey among Internet users. The election was made through the help of 1250 radio stations through out Turkey, and contained 16 different categories.
According to the results, Radio Bilkent was chosen as the Best Local-Foreign Broadcasting Radio Station in Ankara. On the night of the awards ceremony, Radio Bilkent was honored with another success. One of the Radio Bilkent Dj's, Özgür Abacı, was awarded the Radio Star Award in the Comedy Show category in another competition held by RAYAD focusing on amateur dj's.


Invitation to Support TEMA

TEMA has recently launched a campaign, called “One Million Saplings for Solidarity with the Soil”. The recent number of the saplings has reached 562.237, which are planted all around Turkey. The most important one, the one millionth sapling, will be planted in Anıtkabir.
If you are interested in joining this very worthwhile campaign, the Operational Research Club will set-up a TEMA stand from March 30 to the 1st of April at the BCC building.
Donations for the “1 Million Saplings” campaign will also be collected at the stand. Also; TEMA membership registration forms will be provided at the stand and TEMA products will be sold.
One sapling will generate one trace of you in the earth. We are waiting for your support for the campaign for our future.

Bilkent Hosts Inter-University Badminton Tournament

Follow the Birdie!
Attention all badminton fanatics, the upcoming Inter-University Badminton Tournament is a great opportunity to add some spice to your campus life.
There will be thirteen universities playing in this tournament, which includes Abant İzzet Baysal University, Ankara University, Bilkent University, Erciyes University, Fırat University, Gaziantep University, Gazi Osman Paşa University, Hacettepe University, Mustafa Kemal University, Niğde University, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Polis Akademisi, and Yüzüncü Yıl University.
The tournament starts on April 2 and ends on April 4 at the Main Campus Sports Hall between 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
The Bilkent University Badminton Team, hopes to see all students and personnel at the Sports Hall.
