Nanomaterials Workshop Ends Tomorrow
SCAN 2010 Workshop and School on the Synthesis, Characterization and Applications of Nanomaterials, supported by the EU 7th Framework, began at Bilkent on September 30 and will end October 6.
The main purpose of this event was to provide a platform for discussions regarding recent progress on the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials. There were be tutorial lectures and discussions as well as presentations by graduate students. This served as a vehicle for establishing scientific contacts and collaboration among the attendees.
The events held today and tomorrow, October 5 and 6, will include 2-hr lectures/tutorials from invited speakers on specific aspects of working with materials at nanometer scale.
SCAN 2010 Organizing Committee includes Prof. Dr. Atilla Aydınlı, Asst. Prof. Erman Bengü, Prof. Dr. Ömer Dağ, Asst. Prof. Emrah Özensoy, and Asst. Prof. Dönüş Tuncel.
