Book Collecting Campaign to Help Schools
The Social Awareness Projects (Toplumsal Duyarlılık Projeleri - TDP) student organization at Bilkent is conducting a book collecting campaign in cooperation with Altunbilekler Supermarkets. The donated books will help create or expand libraries in schools that lack sufficient resources, and will encourage children to develop the habit of reading.
The campaign started on March 16 and will continue through May 19. Those who want to donate books can drop them off at the nearest Altunbilekler Supermarket (a complete list of branch locations may be found at http://www.altunbilekler.com.tr/magazalarimiz2.php). The books will be sorted by TDP volunteers and then sent to schools that need them by Altunbilekler Supermarkets.
