Bilkent Chess Team Takes 3rd
A blitz chess tournament was held on December 23 at Başkent University, as part of the Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal Science and Art Activities. Players from universities in Ankara competed individually, and at the end of play the results of the two best players on each team were added to come up with team scores.
Bilkent University's chess team placed third. The team consisted of Mert Özateş (EE), Erdem Bıyık (EE), Göksu E. Sezer (EE), Batuhan Sütbaş (EE), Sarp Koç (MATH) and Serdar Ay (MATH).
