News From the Clubs at Bilkent

Tourism Club
Welcomes Members

The Tourism Club welcomes all students. The club was established four years ago with the goal of improving club members' knowledge of tourism and its impact. To reach this goal, the Tourism Club organizes educational conferences and discussions as well as trips to sites across Turkey. For example, the Marco Polo Committee organized a trip to Hattushash last year. Our guides, instructors from Bilkent's Archaeology and History of Art Department, made the trip particularly informative. It was a great pleasure to explore the world of the Hittites.

If you are interested in our club, pick up an application form from the club's office at the Tourism and Hotel Management Building, room RE-104 on East Campus. We hope to see you at our meetings held every Tuesday and Thursday between 12:40 and 1:30 p.m. Also, everybody is invited to our get together and executive committee meeting on Thursday, September 24 at 12:40 p.m. in the Banquet Room of the Tourism Building.
