Bilkent News Submission Guidelines
|
- Articles or announcements for publication in the Bilkent News should be
- in English;
- no longer than 200 words;
- free of spelling and grammar errors;
- related to academic, social or cultural events at Bilkent or the activities of students, faculty members or administrators.
- Submissions related to a specific event should
- include the date, time and location of the event mentioned;
- include the name, telephone extension and e-mail address of the person or persons to contact for more information about the event.
- Submissions should:
- be e-mailed to bilnews@bilkent.edu.tr.
- If e-mail is not an option, submissions saved on computer diskette will be accepted Diskettes must be delivered to
the Communications Unit,
room G-23 in the Engineering Building.
- In order to be considered for inclusion in the following Monday's issue, submissions must be handed in by 3 p.m. Tuesday. Submissions that are not time sensitive will be published as space permits.
Short event announcements and BilAd advertisements may be submitted as late as 3 p.m. Thursday.
