Ilgaz 2 Wins "Sports as a Way of Life" Football Tournament
The final match of the "Sports as a Way of Life" football tournament was played on December 15 between the teams Ilgaz 2 ("Ofsayt Taktiği") and Toros 2 ("Hacı Kalkmaz"). During the first half of the match, the level of play was very even, with each team challenging the other. During the second half, however, Ilgaz 2 succeeded in dominating play and finished the match as the victor by a score of 4-2.
In the end, everyone was a winner, because this game was the first final match for participating students in their freshman and sophomore years. The "Sports as a Way of Life" competition will continue in the spring semester, and the overall winners for the 2011-12 academic year will be determined.
