UNICEF Cooking Course Ends with Ottoman Cuisine

The special four-session cooking course organized by UNICEF volunteers and supported by the Bilkent University Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, which started April 1, concluded last Sunday, May 6. International and Turkish chefs from well-known Ankara restaurants and the Bilkent Department of Tourism and Hotel Management conducted the classes, which took place at the facilities of Le Piment Rouge restaurant.
On May 6, class members prepared Ottoman specialties under the supervision of Zeki Polatkesen, vocational specialist in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management. Participants enjoyed this hands-on introduction to the intricacies of Ottoman cuisine.
Money raised during the course will be used for various educational activities run by UNICEF Turkey.
