Ex Libris: News from the Library
The Library would like to inform all Bilkenters that we are currently reorganizing our Faculty Librarianship program. In addition to redefining the duties of these liaisons, some of the faculty assignments will be moved to different librarians. The list of faculty librarians and faculties/units is given below, in order to make sure that students and instructors know their correct librarian.
Türkan Çamdereli: Vocational School of Computer Technology and Office Management
Evrim Ergin: FAE; and School of Applied Languages
Semra Kesler: Humanities and Letters; Art, Design and Architecture; and Department of History
Şelale Korkut: BUSEL (excluding FAE); School of Applied Technology and Management; and Vocational School of Tourism and Hotel Services
Burcu Tanrıkulu: Engineering; and Science
Hande Uçartürk: Business Administration; Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (excluding History); Education; and Bilkent Schools
Süreyya Yurdakul: Law; and Music and Performing Arts
These faculty librarians are intended to provide a point of contact between the Library and the relevant departments. As such, they work to develop our collection for their particular faculties and units and provide orientations, and they are also involved in our various information literacy programs.
