Landscape Architecture Project Competition Colloquium Held at FADA
Last week, on September 21, the colloquium of the Landscape Architecture Graduation Projects Competition 2011-2012, a national event for landscape architecture students organized by the UCTEA (Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects) Chamber of Landscape Architects, was held at the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture in collaboration with the Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture.
The colloquium was attended by urban design and landscape architecture students from Bilkent and other universities in Turkey, as well as scholars in the field and members of the Chamber of Landscape Architects. During the colloquium, the projects entered in the competition were evaluated by the jury. This was followed by an award ceremony and the opening of an exhibition showcasing the projects. Emre Çalış, a 2012 LAUD graduate, received a jury special award.
