New Chef Heads the Kitchen at Le Piment Rouge
The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management's Le Piment Rouge, one of the few restaurants in Ankara offering international cuisine, has a new chef- instructor, Elif Denizci. The menus she creates will be prepared in the kitchen of Le Piment Rouge by students working under her tutelage; the school's students also serve the meals in the restaurant's dining room.
Ms. Denizci has worked at the Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center and produced culinary programs for TRT before joining Bilkent University. In 2009, she was the winner of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs 13th National Young Commis Rôtisseurs Competition. Currently, Ms. Denizci is continuing her graduate studies in tourism management education.
This week, the menu at Le Piment Rouge will feature Italian specialties, prepared under the direction of the restaurant's new chef.
