Inspired by Books: the Bookmark Workshop

On November 6, a bookmark workshop took place at Main Campus Library. The event, organized by Bilkent Edebiyat Topluluğu in association with the Bilkent Library, attracted many participants, who had a great time.
At the workshop, attendees were asked to first think of their favorite book or story and then create a bookmark that represented their feelings about it. The Library provided all the materials needed to make the bookmarks, including glue, scissors, multicolored pens and paper.
"Since creativity is what we give the most importance to in Edebiyat Topluluğu, our motto is also 'creativity.' As a club, we prefer activities that are as colorful and creative as possible when we consider planning an event. That’s why this bookmark workshop took place. We wanted to come together, hold a creative event and have an enjoyable time. The Bilkent Library is always open for such events, and they’re always ready to help," stated Serencan Erciyas, the president of Bilkent Edebiyat Topluluğu.
The bookmarks created at the workshop are currently on display in the Bilkent Main Campus Library entrance.
