Modeled after endeavors at other universities, the WAC Project is guided by the principle that 1) students learn better and think more critically through expressing themselves in writing and 2) frequent writing and revision based on feedback improves expression and communication skills.
Many Bilkent faculty members already use writing in their classrooms as a means of assessing student performance and developing students’ critical faculties. In order to share these ideas, a series of articles called “Writing Across Bilkent” will spotlight faculty members in the Bilkent News.
