ELIT Student on the List of the International Library of Poetry

Aziz Yavuzalp (ELIT/IV), has been included in a group of 100 poets selected for the official anthology of The International Library of Poetry. The head of the International library, Howard Ely, says that Aziz is the first poet from Turkey for the list. It is very hard to be included in The International Library of Poetry anthology because it is a very selective list.
Yavuzalp was selected for his poem entitled “Bir Başka Aşk” (A Different Love) which he describes as “a creative and mysterious work”. This young poet was quick to say: “Writing is the way for me to reflect my thoughts and emotions.” Here is the poem:
A Different Love
I want to love you
Not with my heart
But with my soul
I want to think of you
Not with my mind
But with my heart
I want to have you deep inside of me
Not because of my pleasure
But because of my love
