I'm glad for the feedback about last week's column on Turkish bands. I would like to finish with Turkish bands before counting the best albums of 2010. Here are the Turkish bands that you might not know; you should not miss forthcoming concerts.

Multitap
This band was established in 2006 with Selim Siyami Sümer, Sertaç Özgümüş, Taçkın Bilal, and Ali Cihan. They started with covering songs according to their sound, then they wrote some original songs. During the years, Multitap was recognized by audiences in İstanbul, so they decided to record their first album. The actress Demet Evgar produced their first album, Takım Oyunu. The songs are based on electronic, alternative, and rock. Their first video clip tells the story of a day in a life of 4 friends trying to get away from the stress of life with music. Lastly, Multitap recorded the very good soundtrack for the film Vay Arkadaş.

Key Songs: "Battaniyem," "Vay Arkadaş," "Çıbık"

The Revolters
The Revolters is a Turkish indie/post-punk band created in 2006 by lead singer and guitarist Serhat Erman, synths and guitarist Berkan Tomay, bassist İbrahim Kent, and drummer Murat Şahin. They released the first hit from their debut album It's Gonna Hurt A Little in 2007. With their debut album, they have been noticed by NME Magazine. Soon after they recorded their second EP, Future Obscure. The Revolters, made a real impact on Turkish listeners who are interested in western music culture. They recorded an album in London with the same producer as Muse and Luke Buttery. All of the tracks were in English, but they are now in the studio recording a new album including Turkish songs.
