Radyo Bilkent Producer Performs in Venezuela
Turkish pianist Eren Başbuğ, who studies at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts and works in Radyo Bilkent's production department, distinguished himself and made Bilkent proud on November 19. Eren Başbuğ directed the Chacao Youth Symphony Orchestra in Caracas, Venezuela with Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater, an important progressive metal band. Eren Başbuğ orchestrated Dream Theater's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and created a good classic version of Rudess's rock compositions. In addition to Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, Başbuğ performed his new project Explorations for Keyboard and Orchestra in Caracas with Rudess on keyboard as the soloist.
