Theater Club to Perform The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband
Bilkent Tiyatro Kulübü is a group of student actors who have been presenting plays at Bilkent since 1993. Following the principle that amateur theater is focused on the audience, Bilkent Theater has been providing continual workshops to enhance the general public's knowledge of theater.
This year Bilkent Tiyatro Kulübü will perform The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband on Wednesday, December 8 and Saturday, December 11. The play will be presented in the FEASS, C-Block Auditorium at 8 p.m. The club invites everyone to come and enjoy the performance.
The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband is a comedy drama from playwright Debbie Isitt. Following the idea that a kitchen is a murderer's paradise, Kenneth travels back and forth between the tempting smell from Hillary's oven and the other vital temptation, Laura. He cannot seem to make a decision, so chooses to enjoy them both. Alas, Kenneth's "women" are also awaiting a decision, or they will decide for him. So it is only a matter of time before Kenneth replaces the delicious fish in the oven.
