The Library Art Gallery welcomes painter İnci Çakmakçı for the second time for her latest solo exhibition called "Hand in Hand." Follower of a magical and original utopia using basic primary and secondary colors in her paintings, İnci Çakmakçı exhibits her mid- and large-scale canvases at the Library Art Gallery.

With the ultimate optimism in her paintings, Çakmakçı takes the viewer to a world of pure joy, peace, and solidarity. She further expresses herself as an artist sensitive to the universe, using colors to reflect her vivacious perception of life.

Çakmakçı was born in 1950 in Istanbul and graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 1994. She completed her master's degree in 2001 at the same university. She has opened many solo exhibitions since 1995; and one of them was once again at the Library Art Gallery in 2007, called "A Gift".
