Bilkent News Picture Challenge
I Know Where You've Been This Week
BY TULYA KAVAKLIOĞLU (MBG/IV)
Hello everyone! I hope you had fun solving the puzzles the last two weeks because the following puzzles might get a bit more challenging. Just remember that I am going to give you a picture every week and ask from where exactly in our campus the picture was taken. If you are able to reply with the correct answer you will get a chance to win a coffee from Coffee Break or a lunch from Le Piment Rouge. You will also find an interesting story about the previous week's picture here.
Last week's picture was from the aquarium located in Cafe-In. Those fish in the aquarium are African. The owner of the aquarium, also the owner of Cafe-In, says that they are a rare species that can be found only around the deepest rocks of Lake Tanganyika, the second largest lake on earth. This is what makes them valuable and so hard to catch. They must first be brought up to the surface carefully, so that they do not die because of change in pressure, however there are always some that do not survive. It also takes a considerable amount of time for them to adapt the aquarium conditions, increasing their value.
Be ready for more challenging fun next week. Also keep in mind that I will graduate this year and will leave this little corner empty. So if you are interested in taking it over, go ahead and contact us.
Prizes will be: The first two correct answers win coffee from Coffee Break.
The 15th correct answer wins lunch for one from Le Piment Rouge. iletisim@bilkent.edu.tr
